New Origin Media is a design, development, and consulting practice. This page explains what this website collects, why, and what happens to it.

What the contact form collects

When you send an inquiry, we collect your first and last name, email address, company, job title, your message, and whether you ticked the box asking for occasional updates.

That submission is checked and sent to us as a single email. It is not written to a database — the only copy is the message sitting in our inbox. Our server logs record that a submission arrived and whether it passed validation; they do not record what you wrote.

We set the email’s reply address to yours so we can answer you directly.

What analytics collects

This site runs Google Analytics through Google Tag Manager. It sets cookies and records things like the pages you view, roughly where you are, your browser and device, and the site that referred you. We use it to see which pages are worth keeping.

You can opt out through your browser’s cookie controls or with Google’s opt-out browser add-on.

Who else handles it

  • Amazon Web Services hosts the site and delivers the contact email through S3, CloudFront, Lambda, and SES.
  • Google receives the analytics described above.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers.

How long we keep it

We keep personal data for as long as it serves the purpose it was collected for, and then no longer. In practice:

  • Inquiries stay in our inbox while we are talking, and afterwards for as long as the conversation might matter to work we might do together. We delete them sooner if you ask.
  • Update subscriptions last until you tell us to stop.
  • Analytics data is held by Google under the retention period set on our account.

We may keep data longer if we need it to meet a legal, tax, or accounting obligation, or to establish or defend a legal claim.

Your choices

Email info@neworiginmedia.com, and we will tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. If you asked for updates, replying “unsubscribe” to any of them is enough.

Changes

If any of this changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
